Grey Tennis Tournament. Grey Boys Shine at 22nd Grey Tennis Tournament.
Grey delivered a stellar performance at the 22nd annual Grey Tennis Tournament. The tournament was held last weekend. Grey shared top honours with Hoërskool Waterkloof, Pretoria, after the final playoff matches were unfortunately cancelled due to persistent rain.
Despite the weather disruption, Grey College showcased their dominance on the court, winning all their group-stage matches and securing first place in their group:
- ✅ Defeated Kearsney College 7–0
- ✅ Narrow victory over Paul Roos Gymnasium 4–3
- ✅ Overpowered St Stithians College 6–1
This impressive run also reflects the depth of talent and determination within the Grey College tennis squad. Congratulations to both Grey College and Waterkloof for their outstanding performances and for jointly claiming the tournament title.
Grey Kollege blink uit by 22ste Grey Tennistoernooi.
Grey Kollege, Bloemfontein, het ‘n uitmuntende vertoning gelewer tydens die 22ste jaarlikse Grey Tennistoernooi. Die toernooi het die afgelope naweek plaasgevind. Grey Kollege en Hoërskool Waterkloof deel die eerste plek nadat die finale uitspeelwedstryde ongelukkig weens aanhoudende reën gekanselleer is.
Ten spyte van die weersomstandighede het Grey Kollege hul oorheersing op die baan bewys deur al hul groepwedstryde te wen en boaan hul groep te eindig:
- ✅ Wen teen Kearsney College 7–0
- ✅ Noue oorwinning teen Paul Roos Gimnasium 4–3
- ✅ Oorheers St Stithians College 6–1
Hierdie indrukwekkende reeks oorwinnings getuig van die talent en vasberadenheid van Grey Kollege se tennisspan. Baie geluk aan Grey Kollege en Waterkloof met hul uitstekende prestasies en gedeelde toernooi-titel.
