Grey High School Cricket. St Andrew’s School Bloemfontein 1st XI launched their 2026 campaign in emphatic fashion with a commanding victory over Pearson High School in Gqeberha.
Captain and Head Boy for 2026, Reuben van Aarde, led from the front with a superb century, scoring 116 to anchor St Andrew’s total of 223 in their first innings. This came after Pearson had been dismissed for 140, giving St Andrew’s an 83-run lead.
Pearson struggled in their second innings, collapsing to just 48 all out. This ensured a comprehensive innings-and-35-run victory for St Andrew’s.
