Glenwood Matric Dance. Glenwood high School, Durban, Matric Dance was held on Friday 27 May in the School Hall. The School Hall was transformed for the Glenwood Matric Dance into an African sunset ballroom with the theme being “Under the African Sky!”.
The Dance Committee set high standards after two years of not hosting a dance due to Covid. In true Glenwood style, the Matrics were privileged to spend a special evening together with their chosen Ladies.
There was a great turn-out by the boys, and their partners who looked stunning. The evening got underway with the traditional first dance by the Head Prefect and his stunning partner. Mrs Yunnie must be congratulated for producing a record number of dancers on the evening. Ballroom dancing is certainly alive and well at Glenwood!
Mrs Jones was thanked by the Head Prefect for her efforts on putting together such a memorable evening for the boys. Well done to all.
An excellent evening enjoyed by all the matric boys and their stunning partners.
