Glenwood learner selected for 2022 commonwealth development team

Tiago Cordeiro of Glenwood High School in Durban, took part in the KZN Champs and Commonwealth Trials.

Tiago participated in a few events including his main event the 200M Fly and achieved a personal best with a time of 2:02:90. He was placed third overall in the all of South Africa and first for KZN.

The Senior commonwealth qualifying time was 2:01:45 which means that he misses the time by just over a second. The time 2:02:90 is also a Youth Olympic qualifying time. He was also selected for the 2022 commonwealth development team.

Well done Tiago, Glenwood is very proud of you and will continue to support you on your Olympic dream!
