The Glenwood Old Boys’ Association gave the Matric Class of 2020 face masks to wish them good luck on their final examinations.
To remember the class of 2020, the boys placed their masks on a helix.
The helix shape (or spiral) is a symbol of resilience and is found throughout nature. We find the helix in galaxies and weather patterns and in every living organism’s DNA. … In its very nature, the helix is the definition of resilience.
“It really has been an upside-down year for all of us, but as Old Boys we really feel for the matrics. What should have been their “best year” at Glenwood has instead been one long challenge. The masks are a small token from the Old Boys Association to wish the young men good luck for their final exams and to remind them that we are backing them to make a success going forward.”
