On Saturday 10 March 2018, Glenwood High School in Durban will be having its Annual School Fete. All the traditional stalls will be operating (books, clothes, white elephant, tombola, cards, food).
This year we have decided to include a Squash Festival (not a tournament) in the programme. It is purely a fun event (arrive, pay and play). The details are as follows:
DATE:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Saturday 10 March
VENUEÂ Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Glenwood High School
TIME             08h00 — Registration
08:30 – 12:30 (play)
Cost:Â Â R5 Registration Fee
R5 Per Match
Rules: There will not be a ladder. As soon as a court is available, two players can play, irrespective of age, talent or gender.
A match will consist of one game (first player to reach 20 and to lead by 2 points).
Every player (each player) will pay a R5 match levy.
There will not be a winner, but there will be “spot” prizes.
Please just ensure that the correct playing shoes are worn by the players. Ideally players should wear clothing which reflects the name of his/her primary school.
We will provide more information on the day. We do so hope you will be part of this “fun, yet competitive” festival.
