The prestigious South African Target Shooting Competition was held during the October 2017 holidays in Newcastle and was hosted by KZN Bisley for the first time – a gala dinner rounded off the week-long event .
The following Glenwood High boys were part of the KZN team and the Overall results achieved:
Thomas Rossouw – 2nd place in U21 Springer class Dawson Ellis – 16th place in U21 Springer class James Snell – 15th place in U16 Springer class Luke Munns – 21st place in U16 Springer class Josh Strydom – 28th place in U16 Springer class Luay Wernich – 15th place in U14 Springer class
Ruben Kitching – 4th place in U21 Sporter class Dieago Barco – 35th place in U16 Sporter class Corwin Quail – 97th place in U16 Sporter class
Two Glenwood High School boys were selected for the final shootout – Ruben Kitching in the Sporter class and Thomas Rossouw in the Springer class.
