The golf academy boys had the privilege to host Mr Greg Haermon at their training facilities on Tuesday 13 February 2018. Mr.Haermon is a well-known professional caddy. He has caddied for various golf professionals including Retief Goosen, Charl Swartzel, Sergio Garcia and Louis Oosthuizen.
Some of his accolades: He won the US Open with Retief in 2001 and the US Masters with Charl in 2011 and was the caddie captain for the international team at last year’s Presidents Cup under Nick Price.
The players benefited vastly through a Q and A session, as well as some practical advice e.g. course management, club selection etc.
My gratitude must be extended to Mr Graham.Oberholzer (Head Prefect 1985 and retired Old Boys Association Chairman) who made this visit possible.
