Die o.17 Flames verloor met 20-24 teen Hoërskool Nelspruit en 5-24 teen Hoërskool Middelburg.
Erries se o.15 Crinums Fast 5 netbal span wen met ’n uitstekende telling van 30-6 en speel gelykop teen Hoërskool Middelburg, 21 elk. Die span eindig eerste in hulle poel. In die kwartfinaal wen die Erries teen Middelburg Griffons met 28-9 en verloor in die semifinaal teen HTS Middelburg met 20-30. In die finaal oorwin hulle Secunda met 19-13. EHS eindig derde in Mpumalanga.
Die o.15 Crinums kwalifiseer ook met dié plek vir die Suid-Afrikaanse Kampioenskap. Dit vind plaas op 3 en 4 Oktober te Hoërskool EG Jansen.
Fast 5 Netball
Two of the Ermelo High School’s Fast 5 netball teams took part in the Mpumalanga playoffs on 24 September.
The under-17 Flames lost 20-24 to Nelspruit High School and 5-24 to Middelburg High School.
The under-15 Crinums won by an excellent score of 30-6 and played in a tie against Middelburg High School, 21 each. They finish first in their pool. In the quarterfinals, the Erries also won against Middelburg Griffons 28-9 and lost in the semifinal to HTS Middelburg 20-30. In the final, they defeated Secunda 19-13. EHS finished third in Mpumalanga.
The under-15 Crinums also qualified for the South African Championships with this spot. The championship will take place on 3 and 4 October at EG Jansen High School.
