ESKOM Expo Regional Competition. Trio High School learner, Helené Fourie, participated in the ESKOM Expo Regional Competition for Young Scientists Science Fair in Welkom. The competition took place from 16 to 17 August.
She achieved the following:
- Gold Medal (above 80%)
- Category Winner: Scientific Investigation
- Best project by a female participant
- Best Senior Project (Gr. 7-12)
Helené was also chosen to participate at the International Science Fair (ISF), taking place in Johannesburg during the September schools holiday.
