schoolsthatrockSt John’s D.S.G. Grade 11 pupil, Jessica Chantler has recently been selected as a member of the South African National Youth Orchestra, as one of 9 percussionists from around the country.
Of this group, she is the only girl and the only one still at school, since this orchestra also includes members from Universities! In December, she will attend a percussion course in Cape Town with this orchestra, as well as the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra from Amsterdam.
