Desert Dash Race Namibia. Paarl Boys’ High Shines at the Desert Dash 🌍🚴♂️
Paarl Boys’ High is bursting with pride as two of their learners, Daniel Bristow and Henry Chamberlain, took on one of the toughest endurance cycling events in the world – the Desert Dash Race Namibia. This legendary race, now in its 21st year, challenges riders to conquer 401 km across the Namib Desert, the oldest desert on Earth, in under 24 hours.
Daniel and Henry were part of a four-man team that not only completed the grueling course but did so in an astonishing 14 hours and 53 minutes. Their team finished 6th overall, a remarkable achievement given the scale of the event, which attracts more than 1,200 cyclists from around the globe. Even more impressive, they were the youngest team to participate, proving that courage, determination, and teamwork can overcome even the harshest conditions.
