Curro Serengeti – Thinus Enslin newly appointed Executive Head

Curro Serengeti. JSE-listed independent school group Curro Holdings, is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Thinus Enslin as the Executive Head of Curro Serengeti in Kempton Park, Johannesburg.

A graduate of Potchefstroom University, Mr Enslin qualified with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree. He also obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (cum laude). Furthermore he has a solid 18 years of teaching experience under his belt. He has six years as a principal and four years as an executive head.

His most recent leadership role was as the Primary School Principal of Leeuwenhof Akademie in the East Rand. Prior to that, he enjoyed a progressive career with Curro. He joined the private school group in 2011 as the Operational Head of Curro Heuwelkruin in Polokwane. Thinus quickly scaled the leadership ladder to become the Executive Head of Curro Secunda in Mpumalanga. He led with great success from 2015 – 2018.

Accomplished sportsman

Outside of teaching, Mr Enslin is an accomplished sportsman, having played and coached professional cricket for the North West Cricket Union and at several prominent clubs in England and Scotland. However, his interest and support at school level spans all facets with special emphasis on academic performance and excellent curriculum delivery.
