It was an accomplished cricket performance by the Saints First XI on Saturday against Clifton College. Winning the toss at Riverside on what is now renowned as a difficult wicket to bat on, the Saints bowled superbly and restricted Clifton to just 90 runs all out. Wessly Madhevere, 3 for 9, Steve Scott, 2 for 15 and Sanele Mdingi, 2 for 17 were the pick of the bowlers.  In reply, St Charles College made 92 for 3 in just 15.1 overs.  Wessly Madhevere, 47 not out, was aptly supported by Hayden Raw, 11 not out, and their partnership saw the Saints to a memorable and convincing victory.
