Cricket Report Knights. Congratulations to Ruben Maree, Grey College’s 2024 First XI captain, on making his first-class debut for the Knights in October. In a proud moment, his cap was presented by Old Grey and teammate Pat Botha (Class of 2008). Ruben marked the occasion in style, scoring a century in his very first innings.
This achievement is a testament to his talent, dedication, and the strong cricketing tradition at Grey College. We look forward to following his journey as he continues to excel at provincial level.

Baie geluk aan Ruben Maree, Grey Kollege se eerstespankaptein van 2024, wat in Oktober sy eersterangse debuut vir die Knights gemaak het. In ’n besondere oomblik is sy pet aan hom oorhandig deur Oud-Grey en spanmaat, Pat Botha (Klas van 2008). Ruben het die geleentheid uitstekend bekroon deur in sy eerste beurt ’n honderd-tal aan te teken.
Hierdie prestasie getuig van sy talent, toewyding en die sterk kriekettradisie by Grey Kollege. Ons sien uit daarna om sy loopbaan verder te volg soos hy op provinsiale vlak uitblink.
