Corneels Schabort, oudleerder en dosent vanaf 1 Januarie 2023 as onderwyser by die skool aansluit. Hy beskik oor verskeie kwalifikasies wat grade. Dit sluit in onder andere Chemiese Ingenieurswese en Teologie. Hy is tans besig met sy nagraadse onderwyssertifikaat. Hy het ook reeds ingeskryf vir sy honneurs in onderwysbestuur en leierskap. Dit is wonderlik om hierdie kundigheid tot die skool se personeelkorps te mag voeg.
Corneels Schabort is ‘n besondere mens met die gawe en liefde om met jong mense te werk. Hy gaan onderrig bied in onder andere Wiskunde en Fisiese Wetenskap. Hy beskik ook oor die ervaring om in verskeie ander vakke geweldige waarde toe te voeg. Corneels is ook bekend vir sy leierskapsontwikkeling wat hy regoor Suid-Afrika by verskeie skole doen. Dit is te danke aan hom dat vele jongmense beginselvas na hul toekomsdrome streef. Sy liefde vir die debat en redenaarskuns sal beslis ook bydra tot ons skool se ryke kultuur.
Dit is ‘n groot voorreg om hom as oudleerder, vriend en nou ook as kollega te mag welkom heet. Sy opregte hart teenoor kinders en positiewe geaardheid is iets wat hom onderskei van ander. “Mag jou aansluiting by ons ook op ‘n unieke manier aan jou in veelvoud teruggee wat jy reeds uitgedeel het.”
Corneels Schabort
Witteberg High School, Bethlehem, is delighted and extremely excited to announce that Mr. Corneels Schabort, former learner and lecturer joined the school as a teacher from 1 January 2023. He also possesses several qualifications that degrees. These include Chemical Engineering and Theology, among others. He is currently also busy with his postgraduate certificate in education. He has already enrolled for his honours in education management and leadership. It is wonderful to be able to add this expertise to the school’s staff corps.
Corneels Schabort is also an exceptional human being with the gift and love of working with young people. He will be teaching mathematics and physical science, among others. He also has the experience to add tremendous value in various other subjects. Corneels is also known for the leadership development he is doing at various schools across South Africa. It is due to him that many young people are stubbornly striving for their future dreams. His love for the debate and oratorical arts will certainly also contribute to our school’s rich culture.
It is a great privilege to welcome him as a former learner, friend and now also as a colleague. His sincere heart towards children and positive nature is also something that sets him apart from others. “May your joining us also return to you in a unique way in multiplicity that you have already handed out.”
