Chess. Paarl Boys’ Chess enjoyed a most successful weekend. A record number of 22 boys participated in the Central Cape Winelands trials in Wellington. PBHS took home 3 medals. Furthermore, they achieved a total of 8 top positions in the U15 and U18 sections. Paul Roos, our closest rival, managed to achieve only 4 positions.
Paarl Boys’ High delivered 15 players with an percentage grading above 880, meaning they qualify for the next round.
