The spirit was high and the energy electric as the Welkom Gymnasium Cheerleaders lit up the stage at the FDDCMSA competition in Germiston! With dazzling moves, fearless stunts, and unstoppable enthusiasm, our talented team danced their way straight into the spotlight — and onto the podium!
Here’s how the Gimmies made their school beam with pride:
1st Place – Open Dance Performance Cheer Our team brought the house down with a high-energy routine that wowed the judges and earned them the top spot!
3rd Place – All-Girl Level 2 Stunts Grace, grit, and gravity-defying lifts — the girls nailed it with a powerful performance that landed them a well-deserved bronze!
5th Place – Group Stunt Precision, teamwork, and flair were on full display as our stunt group soared to a strong finish in a tough category.
A massive congratulations to every cheerleader who gave it their all — your hard work, passion, and school spirit have made your school incredibly proud. You’ve shown what it means to be a Gimmie — bold, brilliant, and full of heart!
