Camps Bay High School’s Valedictory Service honours Second Generation learners and parents

Camps Bay High School continues to build on its legacy every year with second or even third generation pupils attending the school. Amongst this year’s Matric pupils, there were 8 current Matric Students who are second generation Camps Bay Students, with one or both of their parents having attended the school.

Cara Kahn – Camps Bay High School Alumni Association Head said, “We introduced a new element to the Valedictory Service last year whereby those who are in the current Matric class and have parents or grandparents who attended the school receive an Alumni pin from their parent or grandparent.  It is a very touching element of the service which has now become a new Camps Bay tradition.  It’s great that so many past pupils choose to send their own children to Camps Bay and this is a testimony to the school and its ethos.”
