Athletics – Curro Durbanville Primary School learner, Vuyo Ngobeni, excelled at the athletics. He is one of the extremely talented grade 5 learners. This boy has recently been ranked in the top 10 in South Africa for his athletic abilities.

Vuyo participated in the “SA Skole Sport Sterre Rankings” for boys. In the under 10 age group he is currently ranked second in the country for the 100m with a time of 13.43 seconds. Vuyo is ranked third in the 80m in South Africa with a time of 10.67 seconds.

In addition, Vuyo is ranked first in the country for High Jump, with a height of 1,50 metres. He is also first in the country for Long Jump with a distance of 5 metres!
