Bosch Hoek Golf Club, KwaZulu-Natal — The fairways were alive with talent and tenacity this past weekend. St Charles College hosted its prestigious Annual Golf Tour and Championships at the immaculately kept Bosch Hoek Golf Club and Lodge.
Three provincial golfers were also among the top 16 competitors. The tournament showcased a thrilling display of skill, sportsmanship, and rising stars in the school’s Blue and Gold golf team. The scenic course also provided the perfect backdrop for a weekend of high-calibre golf, culminating in a nail-biting finish.
Local standout Mitchell Hansen emerged victorious, carding an impressive 74 to claim top honours. His composed performance under pressure solidified his reputation as one of the school’s most promising golfers.
The battle for second place was equally gripping, with matriculant Haden McLeod edging out rising talent Kaleb McNally in a tense playoff. McLeod’s clutch play earned him the runner-up spot. McNally’s third-place finish confirmed his status as a golfer to watch.
