American Academy of Ballet. St Anne’s Diocesan College is in awe and a tad bit jealous of the opportunity awarded to Molly Barnes. Molly was invited to attend the American Academy of Ballet summer school in New York during the recent holiday.
Molly received a scholarship in November 2023 to participate in the two-week program, where she had the privilege of learning from professional ballerinas and teachers from around the world. Staying in the dormitories at New York State Purchase College, Molly danced in beautiful studios and truly immersed herself in the world of ballet. She not only developed her skills as a dancer but also made unforgettable memories and friendships along the way.
She is so grateful she had the chance to grow her abilities and expand her horizons.
