Africa Aquatics Junior Swimming. Eunice is making waves on the national stage!
Leila Yazbek (Grade 11) has been selected to represent South Africa in the Junior Aquatics Team. She will compete at the Africa Aquatics Junior Swimming Championships in Oran, Algeria, from 5–10 May. Remarkably, Leila is the only swimmer from the Free State chosen for this elite team — a true testament to her dedication and talent.
Adding to the celebration, Mr. JP Seyffert, Eunice’s own aquatics coach, has been appointed Head Coach of the Free State Schools Aquatics Team. His squad will compete at the SA Schools Swimming Championships at the University of the Western Cape (UWC) in Cape Town from 23–27 April.
Leila continues to train under Mr. Seyffert’s guidance, making this a proud shared achievement for both athlete and coach.
