Academic Prize-Giving Ceremony. The Drakensberg Boys Choir School held its 2024 Academic Prize-Giving Ceremony on Saturday, 7 December.
The following boys received special Boarding Awards:
- Tony Ferris Trophy:– Neatest boy in Tungay House: Sven Stegen and Syon Chetty
- Attie Odendaal Trophy – Neatest boy in Griffin House: Pieter Stegen
House awards for exemplary conduct – Awarded to a boy in each house who throughout the year has conducted himself with honesty and integrity. He has served as an outstanding role model for his peers, as he led by example.
- Tungay House award: Lunathi Masango
- Griffin House award: Zethembiso Fakude
Service award to boarding: Lunathi Masango and Lesika Christopher.
The Hawks were awarded the DBCS Inter-house shield– Awarded to the House which has accumulated the most points throughout the year, based on various school activities.
Your ongoing teamwork and house spirit was obvious throughout the year.
