schoolsthatrockCape Town Eisteddfod. Jana Marais, Grade 11 learner of Hermanus High School, was awarded the Best Dramatised Prose and Senior Bursary Award for the Best Performer in her age category at the Cape Town Eisteddfod, the most recognized festival in Cape Town.
The Cape Town Eisteddfod was established in 1903. It is the most recognized festival in Cape Town and runs every year showcasing talent in five separate categories.
​The aim at the Eisteddfod is to promote local arts and culture, inspiring people of all ages to learn, progress and pursue their talents in the Arts.
The award ceremony was held at The Wave Theatre in Cape Town on Monday 27 November. Jana entered the online section of the Eistedfodd earlier this year.
Hermanus High School is very proud of this multi-talented Hermie!
