Honours and Awards. Creston College, Oslo Beach KZN, recently celebrated its Honours and Awards ceremonies, highlighting remarkable learner achievements. Grade 12 learner, Meriqè Pillay was the star of the show, receiving the prestigious Bhagwandeen Trust Trophy – DUX Award. Dallin Naicker secured the title of runner-up to DUX. Both these boys recently received their Honours With Tie Awards, for achieving a remarkable year-to-date aggregate of 90% academically.
Outstanding learners from Grade 8-11 were also acknowledged in a separate ceremony earlier that week. Highlights from the ceremony were acknowledging the Top in Grade; Athule Mbili (Grade 8), Alulo Flatela (Grade9), Priyanka Judnarain (Grade 10) and Aarav Maharaj (Grade 11). Top Sports Achievers include Emir Sahli (Junior Half Colours: Athletics), Siyanda Jwara (Junior Full Colours: Athletics), Dhilan Muzenda and Michael Potgieter (Half Colours: Athletics) and Simone’ van Heerden (Half colours: Hockey). Top Cultural Achievers: Kirsty Jackson and Jamie-Lee Rogers (Drama Half Colours), Kayla Niemandt and Ande Kango (Drama Full Colours)
