St Andrew’s School for Girls’ student, Michela di Petro (Grade 12), attended the MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) Seminar earlier in the year at St John’s College. This was an incredible opportunity for Michaela as there were only 99 spaces available. The criteria also includes that students must be doing Mathematics and Physical Sciences as subjects.
A few topics they covered were: The role of women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Insights into studying at MIT and more.
