U18 ISCF. Saint Andrew’s School Bloemfontein’s 1^st Cricket Team made the Saints proud at the U18 ISCF held at St Alban’s College, Pretoria, last weekend. It was a convincing 4 out of 4 for the team against some tough opposition. The young team did very well with some amazing figures.

Day one vs Kearsney College

Letlotlo Likhi took 5 wickets for only 17 runs, helping St. Andrew’s bowl out Kearsney for 88 runs.
St. Andrew’s chased the score down, winning the first game at ISCF with 4 wickets. Kearsney is ranked 3rd in the country.

Day 2 vs Titans Invitational

After a sub-par batting performance by St. Andrew’s getting bowled out for 92, Connor Nel took 6/16 vs Titans Invitational to bowl them out for 24! St. Andrew’s won by 69 runs.
Titans Invitational beat Michaelhouse and Hilton on Day 1 and 2.

Third day vs Kingswood College

St. Andrew’s bowled out Kingswood College for 152 runs at Tuks Oval. Letlotlo Likhi bowled another great spell 3/20 in 8 overs, in partnership with JC Young 2/26 in 9 Overs.
André du Preez scored 56 runs in reply to Kingswood’s score to chase their score down and win the match by 3 wickets.

Day 4 vs Helpmekaar Kollege

St. Andrew’s posted 169 runs with Naudé Botha scoring 52 and Jordan vd Bergh 35 runs.
St. Andrew’s bowled Helpmekaar out for 144. After an already fantastic week, Letlotlo Likhi took another 5 wickets for only 25 runs. This includes a hat trick to seal a great festival for the 1st XI.

Letlotlo took a total of 15 wickets in the festival in 22.1 overs for 67 runs!
