Hulle het in Desember 2022 aan die SAYESS (South African Youth Engineering and Science Symposium) deelgeneem. Gerthyo en Willem het nasionaal met hulle taak ???????????????? ????????????: ???????????????????????????????????? ???????????? ???????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????? in die eerste plek geëindig. Die Ferreira-broers is uitgenooi om Suid-Afrika in Barcelona, Spanje vanaf 9 tot 13 Maart 2023 by die internasionale kompetisie, XXIV Exporecerca Jove, met hul Wetenskap EXPO projek, te verteenwoordig.
Die Ferreira broers is op soek na borge wat hulle in staat kan stel om hierdie wonderlike geleentheid te benut. Finansiële ondersteuning word verlang vir visumfooie, vlugte, akkommodasie, etes, binnelandse vervoer en sakgeld.

XXIV Exporecerca Jove. The Ferreira brothers, Gerthyo and Willem, are learners from Waterkloof High School in Pretoria. They also participated in the SAYESS (South African Youth Engineering and Science Symposium) in December 2022. Gerthyo and Willem finished in first place nationally with their task Code Red: Combating the Invisible Adolescent Enemy . The Ferreira brothers were also invited to represent South Africa in Barcelona, Spain from 9 to 13 March 2023 at the international competition, XXIV Exporecerca Jove with their Science EXPO project.
The Ferreira brothers are also looking for sponsors that can enable them to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity. Financial support is required for visa fees, flights, accommodation, meals, domestic transport and pocket money.
