Curro Durbanville’s Got Talent. On Saturday evening, 15 October 2022, the audience in a jam-packed Curro High School Theatre were undoubtedly blown away by the talent of the Top 22 musicians, vocalists, actors and dancers. They entered for the Curro Durbanville’s Got Talent competition. Unquestionably they are all extraordinary young men and women from Curro Durbanville Primary and High School.

All participants competed to be crowned as Top Primary School Act, Top High School Act, Audience Favourite and Overall Winner.

The judges of the evening were:

Mr Riaan Stroebel (Executive Head: Curro Durbanville)
Mrs Mercia Addinall (Marketer: Curro Durbanville)
Mr Sherman Smart (Curro Durbanville High School dance teacher)
Mrs Hilda Bosch (Curro Durbanville Primary School teacher).

Just before the winners were announced, the audience were entertained by the extremely talented Reinhardt Buhr. He is also a South African musician, multi-instrumentalist, and a live-looping artist.

Without a doubt the competition was extremely tough. Unquestionably all the contestants were worthy opponents with exceptional talent in their field. Curro Durbanville is proud to announce the winners. They are:

Top Primary School Winner: Hanro Serfontein, Grade 5
Top High School Winner: Dance Club
Audience Favourite: Six of Hearts Dance Crew, High School
Overall Winner: Mia-Cecilia Kriel, Grade 7
