schoolsthatrockTennis – Twee gekombineerde tennisspanne van Hoërskool Ermelo het aan die Inter-Afrika tennistoernooi deelgeneem. Dit het plaasgevind in Bethlehem vanaf 8 tot 10 September. EHS se tennisspanne het kishoue geslaan.
Die tennisspelers het waardevolle ondervinding opgedoen. Hulle het teen skole soos Hoërskool Waterkloof, Hoërskool Marais Viljoen, Hoërsool Randburg, Affies, Hoërskool Witteberg en meer gespeel.
EHS het algeheel tiende geëindig. Die seuns het elfde en die dogters tiende geëindig.
Die Erries is besonder trots op Louis Rouillard wat aangewys is deur die ander skole as die speler met die beste sportmangees. Uit die sestig spelers wat deel was van die toernooi, het Louis die meeste nominasies ontvang. Hy wen ’n kontantprys wat deur Pro Kennex geskenk is.

Tennis teams
Ermelo High School also had two combined tennis teams participated in the Inter-African tennis tournament. It took place in Bethlehem from September 8 to 10.
The tennis players also gained valuable experience. They played against schools such as Waterkloof High School, Marais Viljoen High School, Randburg High School, Affies, Witteberg High School and more.
EHS finished tenth overall – boys eleventh and the girls tenth.
The Erries are particularly proud of Louis Rouillard who was named by the other schools as the player with the best sportsmanship. Out of the sixty players who were part of the tournament, Louis also received the most nominations. He also won a cash prize donated by Pro Kennex.
