schoolsthatrockANHS Netball – Five Netball players from Aliwal North High School took part in three different SASN Netball tournaments. During the past holidays, All Ages U/12 – U/16 represented ANHS Netball in Boksburg.
Winter Games for an Elite U/14 team was held in Stellenbosch and the Telkom Junior Champs U/17 – U/19 in Witbank, Mpumalanga.
Thato Simon, Lukhanyo Nkomana and Ima Mdwaba took part in the All Ages Tournament held in Boksburg. Lesedi Lada took part in the All Ages Winter Games held in Stellenbosch. Bohlokwa Tsemane took part in the Telkom Junior Champs in Witbank.
ANHS Netball is very proud of each one of them. They gained a lot of experience that will be of high value when returning and playing for their school teams again.
Mrs. Petro Makkink, Head of Netball for Aliwal North High School and first team coach, was also chosen as coach for one of the two U/18 Eastern Cape Provincial Netball teams at the Telkom Junior Champs held in Witbank.
