- Junior swemmer van die jaar
- Mees gevorderde manlike swemmer
Hy het ook erkenning ontvang vir:
- Sertifikaat van uitstaande prestasie
- Provinsiale verteenwoordiging
- Sertifikaat vir uitstaande prestasie
- Streek en Nasionale deelname
Nico se swembklub, die Crusaders Swemmklub, het ook die Sentraal Gauteng Kampioenskap gewen, en is tans een van die top drie klubs in die land.

During a recent swimming club award ceremony, Nico won two trophies for the 2021/2022 season:- Junior swimmer of the year- Most improved male swimmerHe also received recognition for:- Certificate of Outstanding Achievement – Provincial Representation- Certificate of Outstanding Achievement- Regional and National ParticipationNico’s swimming club – the Crusaders Swimming Club also won the Central Gauteng Championship and is currently one of the top three clubs in the country.
