schoolsthatrockChess at Alies. On Friday, 4 March, the 1st chess team of High School Aliwal North took part in the Fichardtpark High School Chess tournament. The tournament is hosted annually by Fichardt Park High school.
It was the first time since 2020 that the Alies were able to participate. The team played in the A-League and played against Grey College High School, Eunice High School, Hoërskool Grens, Oranje Girls High School and Sentraal High School. It was good practice for the players and the team finished 7th in the A-League.
