schoolsthatrockMTB Championships -Paul Roos Gymnasium from Stellenbosch offered Mountain Biking now as an official sport. Downhill Mountain Biking is an ever-growing sport that has seen tremendous progress over the last couple of years in South Africa. The Downhill National Championships took place on Saturday 5 March – Sunday 6 March 2022 at Pietermaritzburg.
Congratulations to the following Paul Roosers who took part in the SA Downhill MTB Championships.
The winners of the MTB Championships are:
- u/16 – Winner – Peter Venter
- – u/19 – Winner Third price – Philip van Schalkwyk.

Die SA 2022 Downhill Bergfiets Nasionale Kampioenskappe het op 5 en 6 Maart 2022 in Pietermaritzburg plaasgevind. Downhill Mountain Biking is steeds ‘n groeiende sport wat die afgelope paar jaar geweldige vordering in Suid-Afrika gemaak het en nou as ‘n amptelike sport by Paul Roos Gimnasium aangebied word.
Baie geluk aan die volgende Paul Roosers wat aan die SA Downhill Kampioenskappe deelgeneem het.
- o/16 – Wenner – Pieter Venter
- o/19 – Derde plek – Philip Van Schalkwyk
