Aliwal North High School welcomes ‘Kalfies’ of 2020

In Alie-land they breed only one kind of creature and that is the ‘Buffel’: disciplined, well-rounded, confident, and loyal. Ali-land welcomes this year’s Grade 8’s to Aliwal North High School. In good old Alie fashion the Grade 8’s will be undergoing an orientation program supervised by their mentors and the student council.

The orientation program aims to make each Grade 8 learner find their feet and feel welcomed. In no time these ‘Kalfies’ will grow into full-fledged ‘Buffels’ with Alie pride pulsing in their veins. “We hope each Grade 8 learner will embrace this tradition and truly give it horns! We cannot wait to see what you are made of!”
