Sean Neethling, gr. 2 from Worcester Primary, has qualified to participate at the South African Chess Championship Closed. The SAJCCC is the most prestigious event on the junior chess calendar in SA and is invitation based only. He is currently rated 4th highest grand prix player in his age group in SA, and he is one of only 2 under 8 boys selected from the entire Western Cape. He qualifies for Chess SA colours and will be participating in an Inter Continental event later this year.
