The DSG teams relished a full day of competitive hockey at the Cambridge Derby, where they were warmly hosted and accommodated across all fixtures. DSG is deeply grateful to Cambridge for its hospitality and for creating such a positive environment for our girls.

Reddam Constantia Visit

On Saturday afternoon, the U16A and 1st Team welcomed touring side Reddam Constantia to Makhanda. It was a privilege to host a Cape Town team on our home astro and share in high-quality competition.

The U16A team delivered an exceptional performance, showing determination and skill to secure a well‑deserved victory.
The 1st Team faced a strong Reddam outfit in a fast‑paced, hard‑fought encounter. Despite their resilience, the result did not go DSG’s way, but the match was a showcase of grit and commitment.

The sidelines were alive with energy, packed with parents, fellow DSG pupils, visiting teams, and our brothers from St Andrew’s College. A special mention goes to the cheerleaders, whose enthusiasm and gees kept spirits high throughout the day.
