Greg Beling Tournament. The Rhenish 1st Hockey Team returned home on Sunday after an action-packed weekend in East London. The girls competed in the prestigious Greg Beling Hockey Festival. Although the festival does not award official placings, it is renowned for bringing together some of the strongest hockey sides in South Africa.
The Rhenishers rose to the challenge, playing five matches in just three days. This is a true test of stamina and skill. They opened the festival with four consecutive victories. This is, without a doubt, a showcase of determination and teamwork. In their final clash against Oranje Meisieskool from Bloemfontein, the team delivered a thrilling performance, holding their opponents to a 2–2 draw.
Congratulations to the 1st Team on an outstanding set of results and for representing Rhenish with such grit and pride!
