Settlers Sprints Regatta. Settlers Sprints Regatta Highlights | What a Day on the Water!
Yesterday, 25 August, St Andrew’s College and The Diocesan School for Girls proudly hosted the Settlers Sprints Regatta. The regatta took place at the breathtaking Thomas Baines Nature Reserve. Despite moody skies and persistent drizzle, our rowers were undeterred—charging through each race with grit, endurance, and unwavering determination.
From nail-biting finishes to the roar of cheers echoing across the dam, the energy on the banks was electric. Even our officials embraced the spirit of the day, navigating the water with enthusiasm and ensuring the regatta ran seamlessly from start to finish.
Set against the stunning backdrop of the Eastern Cape, the event was a true celebration of teamwork, perseverance, and passion for rowing.
“A heartfelt thank you to all the visiting schools, coaches, officials, and supporters who braved the weather to be part of this memorable occasion.”
