Dato Mirnawan U17 Cup – Paarl Boys’ High School Hockey

Dato Mirnawan U17 Cup. Congratulations to Paarl Boys’ hockey player Martin de Bruyn (Grade 11). He had been selected to represent South Africa at the 4th edition of the Dato Mirnawan U17 Cup. It takes place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 1–10 November 2025. This prestigious international tournament will also see the South African team competing against top-tier hockey nations. Included are Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, as well as Australia.

Paarl Boys’ High is also thrilled to announce that Jamie Kock (Grade 10) has been selected for the South African U16 team, which will play a series against Zimbabwe later this August.

Paarl Boys’ High School is indeed incredibly proud of these two outstanding hockey players. Your hard work, as well as your talent, is truly inspirational — well done!

Hoër Jongenskool Paarl is baie trots op Martin de Bruyn (Graad 11), wat gekies is om Suid-Afrika te verteenwoordig by die 4de uitgawe van die Dato Mirnawan O17-beker in Kuala Lumpur, Maleisië, vanaf 1 tot 10 November 2025. Hierdie gesogte internasionale hokkietoernooi sal sien hoe die Suid-Afrikaanse span meeding teen tophokkienasies soos Maleisië, Suid-Korea, Japan, en Australië.

HJS is ook baie trots op Jamie Kock (Graad 10), wat gekies is vir die Suid-Afrikaanse O16-span om later in Augustus ‘n reeks teen Zimbabwe te speel.
