Curro Aquatics made waves – Curro Durbanville High School Aquatics made waves, literally and figuratively, at the 2025 Western Cape Short Course Championship. They were emerging as the undisputed champions among 39 competing clubs. With over 60 swimmers representing Curro Durbanville, Somerset West, and Century City campuses, the team delivered a powerhouse performance that will be remembered for years to come.
A Gala to Remember
In a weekend packed with adrenaline, determination, and sheer talent, Curro Aquatics made waves by clocking an astonishing 419 personal bests. This is a feat that speaks volumes about the club’s commitment to excellence and growth. Coaches, parents, and supporters watched with pride as both the girls’ and boys’ teams clinched 1st place overall. This secured Curro Aquatics the coveted title of Western Cape Short Course Champions.
