2025 Prefect Body. Following the Prefect Camp this past weekend, the Executive Team for the 2025 Prefect Body of Camps Bay High School was officially introduced at assembly this morning. The school is proud to announce that Alexa Nicholson (from Hout Bay) has been appointed as Head Prefect, with David Muetheno (from Vredehoek) and Shani Gilmour (from Camps Bay) serving as her Deputies. They step into leadership following the exceptional tenure of 2024’s Head Prefect Fergus Tayler and Deputy Head Prefects James Heather-Clark and Caitlyn Keymer.
At Camps Bay High School, the Prefect Body itself is responsible for electing the Head Prefect and Deputies. This is a process that takes place during the Prefect Camp weekend, promoting teamwork and peer-led leadership.
Mr. Louis Mostert, Principal of Camps Bay High School, expressed his confidence in the newly elected leaders: “We are incredibly proud of the Prefect Body’s decision, and I am confident that Alexa, David, and Shani will lead with the same dedication, integrity, and passion that our school values so deeply. Their election is a testament to the trust their peers have in them, and I look forward to seeing the positive impact they will make in the year ahead.”
