Fantastic cricket news! Cayleigh Wanckel has been selected for the South African Under-19 Women’s squad. They will host Zimbabwe in the upcoming Youth T20 Tri-Series, taking place from 9 to 18 January 2026 at the Chatsworth Oval in Durban.
This prestigious tournament will also feature South Africa U19 Women, Zimbabwe U19 Women, and a Cricket South Africa (CSA) Youth XI, providing our rising stars with invaluable international exposure. All matches are scheduled to start at 13h00 SAST, with the grand final set for Sunday, 18 January 2026.

- Stepping stone to the World Cup: The Tri-Series is part of preparations for the ICC Women’s U19 T20 World Cup 2027 and also offers Cayleigh and her teammates crucial match practice.
