Young Performers Concert. 🎶 Grantleigh Student Shines on National Stage.
On 18 October, Grantleigh Grade 11 student Kaylin Reddy reached an extraordinary milestone. He performed among South Africa’s most gifted young musicians. It took place during the prestigious Young Performers Concert, hosted by the South African Society of Music Teachers (SASMT).
Held at the iconic Durban Playhouse, the event featured Kaylin performing alongside the renowned KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic Orchestra (KZNPO). This is one of the country’s leading professional ensembles, under the direction of acclaimed conductor Chad Hendricks.
Kaylin’s musical journey began at Grantleigh Preschool, and over the years, he has embraced every opportunity to grow, emerging as a passionate and accomplished musician. His selection for this national platform is a testament to his dedication, talent, and the nurturing environment fostered at Grantleigh Schools.
