The young and new arrivals of Kimberley Boys’ High School attended their Grade 8 Camp from 13 to 14 January 2017 at Pro Regno Camp Site.

Welcoming activities, interaction with senior learners, members of the Representative Council of Learners and teachers enabled the boys to loosen up and look forward to an awesome experience in high school. The transition from primary school to high school can be a formidable experience for some. The Kimberley Boys’ High School Grade 8 Camp is fashioned to make this shift smooth, enjoyable and usher the young ones to becoming a functional and unified group. Values and traditions of the school are implanted into the boys enabling them to be part of a bigger community which is Kimberley Boys’ High School.

The boys were engaged in activities such as swimming, running, group presentations and team building challenges. A barbeque was enjoyed by all. The camp was a resounding success and we are certain the experience has set the Grade 8s up for a successful time at Kimberley Boys’ High School.
