It is with great pleasure that we announce that Juandre Le Roux, a Grade 12 learner from Witteberg took part in 4 Western Mounted Games Qualifiers that took place in Sasol and Viljoenskroon. He took part in the highest level of the sport for high school learners. Juandre participates with two horses named Dreamwalker and Painting The Sky.
Below is a small breakdown of the achievements on the day.
- Qualifier 5:
- Painting the Sky – Level 3: three 1st places.Juandre ended as Overall Champion of this level.
- Dreamwalker – Level 4: one 1st place; two 2nd places; one 3rd place. Juandre ended as Overall Champion in this level.
2. Qualifier 6:
- Painting the Sky- Level 3: Three 1st places and one 2nd place. He ended as Overall Champion of this level.
- Dreamwalker – Level 4: one 1st place; one 2nd place; two 3rd places. Juandre ended as Reserve Champion in this level.
3. Qualifier 10:
- Painting the Sky- Level 4: Three 2nd places; one 3rd place.
- Dreamwalker – Level 4: two 1st places; two 3rd places. Juandre ended as Reserve Champion in this level.
4. Qualifier 11:
- Painting the Sky- Level 4: one 2nd place; one 3rd place;
- Dreamwalker – Level 4: one 2nd place; three 4th places.
