Paarl Boys’ High School received a donation of water from Glenwood High School in Kwazulu-Natal on Tuesday (20 February 2018).
Glenwood High school, aware of the devastating drought in the Western Cape, took it upon themselves to assist Paarl Boys’ High in a small way. The Glenwood High Water Drive was an unexpected success, with a total of 1190,25L of water being donated by Glenwood boys, parents and the Glenwood community.
The water was transported to Paarl free of charge by Seabourne Express Courier SA. Mr Jason Potgieter, from Seabourne Express, also took the Glenwood boys on a tour of the courier facilities and explained the complexity of a high-end courier company.
Paarl Boys’ High would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to Glenwood High’s boys, parents, staff and greater community as well as to Seabourne Express Courier SA for making this donation a reality.
