A passionate educator, Ms Allnutt comes to Union from Woodridge Pre-Primary where she taught for several years. She has a wealth of teaching and leadership experience and is eager to take over the reins of the school. “I’m extremely excited to join the staff of Union Pre-School and consider it a real blessing to have been given the opportunity to be the principal of such a wonderful pre-school,” said Ms Allnutt.
Ms Allnutt believes that good teachers teach from the heart. “I am passionate about teaching and strongly believe in guiding our children to become independent and confident members of society.”
She is the proud mother of two young children, Danika and Khaine, and, although born in Tzaneen in the Northern Transvaal, she moved to Port Elizabeth at a very young age. “There is nothing I love more than spending time with my children, baking, cooking and as well as snuggling on the couch in cold weather watching a classic DVD,” she says.
Ms Allnutt lives by the motto, “Strive for perfection and in doing so you will achieve excellence”. “I’m very passionate and enthusiastic about education and I look forward to partnering with the school community to provide our learners with a rigorous, engaging and high-quality school experience.”
Ms Allnutt will assume her new duties on the first day of the 2020 school year. We look forward to welcoming her to our wonderful community!
