Treverton College, Mooirivier, hosted their Grade 8 wild games this past Friday where the grade 8 pupils played a game in which they have to get the ball through the opposing teams legs. If they succeed, the opposing team loses a team member which stands behind the opposition. If someone on the team touches the ball with their hands but does not retain it, the ball has to pass through 3 different sets of team members and end on the line to win the set. Historically wild games are a fun way to introduce new pupils to Treverton culture and to help build new friendships.
After the Grade 8 teams have played there is a traditional game played between staff and prefects which is always a highlight.
